Go Skateboarding Day 2013

This year for the 10th anniversary of Go Skateboarding Day we will be running a few different activities throughout the day, all intended to get you skateboarding and hopefully get you some free gear! Here's a rundown of some of what we're doing (there will certainly be surprise contests, activities, and giveaways throughout the day so pay attention to our social media and stop in the shop at some point):

Jetty/Vine trick contests:
Film a trick at either the Barnegat Light Skatepark, the Waretown Skatepark, or the West Creek Skatepark and tag us AND Jetty on Vine in the video. The best trick at each skatepark will receive a free Jetty t-shirt and sunglasses. And the best overall trick at one of those parks will win one of our NEW shop decks. All videos must be posted by 6pm to qualify. Also make sure to hashtag #goskateboardingday

Instagram scavenger hunts:
We will be hiding 2 boxes of mystery goodies at some point on Friday in random locations in our area. We will post a photo and give a few hints as to where they are. If you find the boxes please take a of photo of yourself with them and tag us in it so we know they were found. Also make sure to hashtag #goskateboardingday #theshackscavengerhunt

Instagram a pro:
If you go out of town to one of the bigger Go Skateboarding Day events and see a pro skater, Instagram a photo of yourself with them AND tag us in it and you'll get yourself a free pair of Stance socks. Also make sure to hashtag #goskateboardingday
